New Year's Mantra

This new year, I came up with my own mantra or whatever you may call it.
"Little Dreams First!"
This year I want to accomplish a lot of things, big and small. But I guess if I want to achieve the big ones, I'd have to achieve the small ones first. For example, I've always wanted to buy myself a BlackBerry. I'd end up postponing because of a million certain reasons. Not that I can't control it. I can. I just postpone it and tell myself that I'll buy it the next time.
2012 would change all of that. I want to chase my little-slash-attainable dreams first. The first one being, yes, you've guessed it, the BlackBerry. It also entails that I will have to SAVE a portion of my hard-earned money to be able to buy my new phone. Saving is also something that I have put-off for the longest time. I say I'd do it this year but put it off for the next, that kind of thing. It's a cycle that I want to get out of.
Second on my list is a trip to Singapore. It's not really on my 2012 goals. But one of my best friends Ikay, asked me to go with her to Singapore and celebrate her birthday there. I thought,"Why not? I owe her a LOT of trips already and this is one I'd like to keep." Plus, I haven't been to SG. It's also been a LOOOONG time since I got to travel outside the country. Traveling is also one that I have been putting off for the longest time.
After I have achieved these little dreams, I'd pursue one of my bigger dreams, and that is to SAVE MONEY. I want to really establish financial stability and that means I'd need to save what I earn. I'd also want to save up for another BIG dream- and that is to go to South Korea and see BIG BANG. I would need a big amount of money for that trip.
I need a huge amount of determination and discipline for me to be able to acheive all of this. I know I will be able to. Wish me luck!

Big Bang's BIG THANKS

On the 7th, South Korean hiphop group BIGBANG resumed their activities in Japan, performing at Kyocera Dome in Osaka for YG Ent’s music event “YG Family Concert in JAPAN”. Member D-Lite (22) made a flashy comeback after halting his activities due to a road accident last year.

With their backs turned, all 5 members of BIGBANG descended from a gondola up in the air to the stage, earning the biggest and loudest cheers from the audience that night. 90% of the audience were female fans. During G-Dragon’s raps and D-LITE’s solo parts in “TONIGHT”, the entire dome resounded with the loudest screams. GD breaking the guitar and the 5 of them singing the chorus together with the fans, it was similar to them getting wounded and being reborn.

Last year, after holding their Japan tour in May, D-LITE got into a road accident and was immediately put into a hiatus. Then on October, it was reported that in July, GD was interrogated by the police for Marijuana use. The news made him take a temporary halt in his activities. After 8 months, the two finally appeared on stage in front of the Japanese fans after a long while. “Everyone, I apologize for making you worry. From now on, I’ll do my best,” GD promised. Daesung on the hand spoke words of thanks, saying, “I realized how important music and the stage are to me.”

They carefully chose 10 songs to perform. “It’s been a while since the five of us were here in Japan. We hope to sing excitedly together with the fans,” SOL (23) said.

Despite being in a period of self-discipline, the group went on the receive the Worldwide Act Award in the MTV Europe Music Awards. They are the first Asian artists to be honoured with such an award, the interest and attention for the group rising up. Immediately continuing on with their activities in Japan, the group is set to make an appearance on the music program (MUSIC STATION) on January 20. “This year, we’re aiming for our own solo dome concert,” VI (21) said. “We want to become the world’s No.1!” SOL added.

- I am very much moved whenever they say thank you to their fans. I cry when they thank each other. The boys have indeed gone through a lot of shitshit the past year and they definitely deserve all the awards and recognition they been getting. I will forever be a VIP.

The Introduction to ME

I am into Football, or what other species call "SOCCER". I have been a Footy fan since 6th grade and I've ALWAYS loved it. Now I support my country's very own Philippine Azkals. Internationally, I support multiple teams. Real Madrid, Barcelona, ManU, Fulham, Chelsea, Stuttgart, Bayern Munich etc. In a nutshell, it's prolly the whole of UEFA. Of course I am biased to one and one player alone in the Footballin' world. And that is goalkeeper Roland Muller of MSV Duisburg, 2nd Division side of Bundesliga. He is also the keeper for the Philippine Azkals.

I am also into K-Pop or Korean Pop. No, I am not half-Korean and I'm not just joining the bandwagon. I have been into ASIAN pop (if I may say so and not knowingly) since I was in 2nd grade. I'd watch Cantonese/Mandarin movies on Star Movies and would watch Chinese Channel [V]. It went on hiatus when our cable provider decided to remove it from the channel line-up. My fandom came back when the handsome boys of F4 became famous in Manila. I went gaga over Jerry Yan. Fastforward a few years, I learned about
K-Pop and how wonderful that country is.
So if you ask me, no, it's not just them hot boys I love about K-Pop. I am loving the culture, the food, the technology and the cute little what-nots they have. I have had my bit of learning their language. I can read and write Kindergarten-level of Korean. (Proud of myself... lol)  At least I won't get lost in Korea when I go there.

My favorite Korean group is Big Bang for the boys and 2ne1 for the girls. Yes, I am a YG Family fan as well. Simply because they are mostly Hip-Hop and RnB, which is basically my kind of music. I do like other groups also, like B2ST (super sexxxy Lee Kikwang),2PM (I love Nickhun), 2AM(Jinwoon is cute!), MBLAQ (Lee Joon and G.O = yum), Super Junior (I like them as a whole, don't really have a bias) and the Wonder Girls. I don't limit myself to just these artists. I listen to others too, just not as much as I do Big Bang and 2ne1. (That didn't sound right...)

And who you might ask is my K-Pop bias? It's no other than, Taeyang of Big Bang. He is the one and the only who holds my heart true. (Cheese-fest)

Enough about me, so welcome to my blog and here goes the craziness, the spazzing, the lusting, the cheesefest, the rants and the raves on anything and everything.
